Main Voice Mail Greeting Recording Guide
Please note that these instructions are for systems that are set up with factory defaults, or close to factory defaults. Your Toshiba system may have been customized to better suit your needs. Please contact CD Communications for instructions specific to your site if these do not work.
Recording the Main System Greeting
(Internally) If you are currently at one of your phones at your business,
1. At any telephone press "Intercom" then Dial "850"
2. Press "# *"
3. The system will ask you to enter your mailbox number. For the main box this is "990"
4. The system will ask for your security code. For the main box this is usually "990" or "990997"
5. If everything worked ok you will hear the system anounce how many messages are in the box. 5. Press "3" to manage the mailbox.
6. To Change greeting press "1"
7. The system will ask you to select a greeting. Pick which greeting number you wish to record. It is usually greeting "1" 8. Follow the system prompts to listen to or change the current greeting. Hang up when you are done.
(Remotely) From a phone outside your business
1. Call in to your system and wait for voicemail to answer. (If a human answers have them transfer you to any voicemail box.)
2. While the greeting is playing press "*"
3. The system will ask you to enter your mailbox number. For the main box this is "990"
4. The system will ask for your security code. For the main box this is usually "990" or "990997"
5. If everything worked ok you will hear the system anounce how many messages are in the box. 5. Press "3" to manage the mailbox.
6. To Change greeting press "1"
7. The system will ask you to select a greeting. Pick which greeting number you wish to record. It is usually greeting "1" 8. Follow the system prompts to listen to or change the current greeting. Hang up when you are done.
